Autorenporträt
Edna Stark was born in Wisconsin in 1932 and placed in an orphanage for 3 years. She then moved to a farm where she grew up and enjoyed all the animals. She loved feeding them and walking in the fields. Her great-grandfather was the founder of the famous Pillsbury Mills in Minnesota in the 1800's. After graduating from Waupaca High School, Edna moved to the town of Waukesha, WI. She married in 1954 and has three birth children, and adopted a baby girl, Karen, who is as precious as her birth ones. Edna loves going for walks and helping other people. Also, she enjoys the Joy Circle Group at church and has been a member of the First United Methodist Church since 1957. In Waukesha, WI, writing her books, A Place Called Home and A Father's Love has made her faith in God strong enough to get through life a lot easier.
