Adams Bodomo is a Ghanaian academic, a Universitätsprofessor ('University Professor') of African Studies (holding the Chair of African Languages and Literatures) at the University of Vienna, Austria - the first Black academic to occupy this top position in an Austrian university. He has done pioneering research in many disciplines including African linguistics, Afriphone literature, diaspora studies with a particular focus on diaspora community contributions to the socio-economic development of countries of origin, Africa-China-Europe relations, and interdisciplinary studies across many humanities and social science disciplines.
