Carmen Mae Zirkle lives in Buckhannon, WV. Her parents have been divorced since she was three years old. Carmen has always been a writer at heart. She always lived by this quote she made up, which is, "You are what makes your dreams come true." Carmen earned a bachelor's degree of fine arts in creative writing at West Virginia Wesleyan College. She loves to write in her spare time and always feels like the world is the canvas of her writing. Carmen always wanted to be an author ever since she was a little girl. She struggled with many obstacles throughout her life and never once gave up on herself, even on the worst of days.
