Heather Walker is a first time author who has drawn on her personal experience to deliver a message of hope and encouragement to anyone who is experiencing challenge. She has been working in her personal training business in Melbourne Victoria for 20 years and is a qualified train the trainer, life coach and stretch therapist, specialising in rehabilitation, older adults and pregnancy. Over the last few years she has developed a unique observation based method of working with clients, in response to a back injury which left her physically living with the restrictions of chronic pain.Prior to this she enjoyed a professional singing career spanning 20 years, which involved performing around Australia, TV appearances and co-wrote and performed the show 'I'll Take Manhattan', a tribute to the Manhattan Transfer in venues around Melbourne.She grew up in regional country Victoria moving to Adelaide for 10 years and then Melbourne to further her musical studies and career. While living in Adelaide she taught pianoforte, singing, performed professionally and provided part-time assistance with the United Marion Care program for the underprivileged. She proudly calls Melbourne - "The World's most livable City" home and resides there with her husband.
