He reminds us that God's word is communicated to us cross-culturally, so we must take seriously the responsibility of transferring its meaning across languages.

GEORGE MBITHI MUTUKU has a PhD in Biblical Studies from Africa International University, Nairobi, Kenya. He has lectured extensively in Kenya, at Pan Africa Christian University, KAG East University and Scott Christian University, among others. He currently serves with DOOR International, overseeing their theological and biblical training department, and is also a pastor in the Africa Inland Church.
