He is also the Managing Partner of CNC Group LLC, a management consulting firm specializing in "business transformation" turnaround management, as well as co-Chairman of Acquire One LLC, a Michigan-based private equity firm. Dr. Nixon is a past President and CEO of Real Times, Inc, one of the largest African American Newspaper chains within the U.S.
