I’ve heard so much about the ACOTAR series that I just had to finally read it. I know that the series is quite controversial and there are a lot of people out there who absolutely hate it. But I can say 100% that I am not one of those people. I absolutely loved the first book and can’t wait to continue with the rest of the series. The world building was absolutely great and I definitely want to know more about the world and all of its secrets in the rest of the series. I also really enjoyed the characters. Of course there were some moments where I absolutely could not understand their decisions but have you ever read a good book where you did not question the characters at all? So I am absolutely excited to get to know them more throughout the story and see how they develop. As far as complexity goes I would definitely consider it to be a lighter book but that just made me fly through the pages without really putting it down.
A great YA fantasy book that I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a lighter fantasy book with a great love story. Weniger

Honestly, I had to force myself through this book. At the beginning of the book up until the middle I thought I would not finish it and just abonden this book series. I thought it was boring and not worth the time. Boy, how wrong I was. As soon as the action kicked in I was spell bound and of course as soon as Rhys was mentioned. He truly keept me readng. I suggest you read it just so you can read the sequel, trust me you won't regret it. Weniger

Broschiertes Buch Great retelling of beauty and the beast. I couldn't put it down until I was through it. Also, I thought this book really empowers women... or at least some of them. Totally recommended, I could easily see what the fuss was about.
