Although there are several Adventist health and educational institutions used to establish contact with Muslims the Adventist Church still faces many difficulties in winning them to Christ. It is assumed that if the clergy and laity were trained and equipped in how to do Muslim evangelization, and a contextualized method was developed and implemented, Adventists would become more effective and efficient in witnessing to Muslims in the Republic of Chad.

Allah-Ridy Koné was born in Chad. An ordained minister, he served the Seventh-day Adventist Church as a pastor and an administrator for over fifteen years. He holds a Doctor in Ministry from Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan. He is currently chairman of the board of governors for Université Emi Koussi in Chad.
