Melodie Williams is a graduate of Southern Illinois University where she studied Journalism and Marketing. Having a passion for encouraging young black girls, she started Melanin Harmony in 2016, a company committed to promoting self-love and love for one another among young girls of color. Melanin Harmony's first mission was to combat 'colorism' in the black community by creating 'Love Your Melanin' and 'Respect Her Melanin' apparel for women and girls of all ages. Melodie's mission and purpose is to continue to instill confidence in young black girls through books, products, film, and forums.
