Life when I was a little, shy, quiet, shut in boy, was extremely difficult. Struggling to become stronger, and find the light. Overcoming dark obstacles such as mental and physical abuse, violence, and drugs. With the love of God, his glory, his guidance, perilous times were turned around with singing and acting. God's light shinning down on me to praise with the gifts he has given to me.

Autorenporträt
In 2005, DeAngelo Wicker graduated from Pershing High School. He later attended university. DeAngelo has the skills to compose and arrange music. He's also a choir conductor, soloist, and faithful choir member at his home church. DeAngelo has two older and two younger siblings whom he loves dearly. Besides his interest in music, he enjoys peacefulwalks, sitting by the water, dancing, and singing. He's also a proud father of two beautiful girls, DeKylah and DeAngela. (aka Legs and Duchess. aka Fire and Brimstone). He calls them his queens and loves them to the moon and back. Born into a family of trendsetters, DeAngelo is a part of SoundTeam, a very distinguished, family-made group led by his older brother. Music is and will always be a big part of his family's legacy. They are true trendsetters indeed and have been since youth when they ran after trains and built things. Forrest Gump's mother always said that "life was like a boxof chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." With that statement being as true as it is, it applies to everyone. Even DeAngelo. DeAngelo has traveled all over the world, experienced a lot of things, and met so many people. He crossed Phi Beta Sigma underneath the full moon and sang with orchestras and mega choirs. His dreams became reality. Befallen with acute kidney failure and a divorce, he was absolutely not going to stop living life. He has his children to live for. Giving up is not and will not be an option. So he turned chicken shit into chicken salad. With the help, love, and support from his mother, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, and his beautiful special someone, he didn't face it alone. God is great and greatly to be praised. "What God can't do can't be done." Be blessed and stay golden.
