Bibliometric analysis has now become a well established part of information research. Hence, with a view to provide some basic information about the characteristics of literature used by the engineering scholars in Sri Venkateswara University, the present study is undertaken. The results and discussion with regard to different aspects are presented for Engineering as a whole and also for the sub-disciplines of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering.
