Monique P. Shaw is a native of the "Motor City," Detroit, MI. She was educated in the Detroit public school system. After graduating high school she attended cosmetology school and became a hair stylist. She loves to cook, shop, and vacation. One of her desires is to visit Hawaii. She is a huge fan of professional wrestling and hopes one day to sit front and center at a WrestleMania event. Three years after having her son she was inspired to write a children's book, which has always been one of her aspirations. Her son inspires her creativity, and her motivation, to write more children's stories. Her purpose is to ensure that her son grows up with every opportunity for a good and productive life.
