Having retired at 57 I wanted to realize my dreams, firstly I purchased a old Dutch barge and with my partner we travelled through France for 5 years, it was a wonderful experience, then we moved to Spain to live the next 6 years, after which we moved back to France and have been here for the past 10 years. We have a wonderful old house with 10 acres of land and a lake which keeps us quite busy, but there was still something missing in my life until for some reason I sat down at my computer and started to write 48 Hours, I just could not stop until I look at my watch it was 4 in the morning.I knew then I had found out what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.so my first novel was born, I finished it in a week.
