This book discusses a protocol for 3D scanning of building stone samples. The goal is to identify and describe the morphological characteristics of the degradation of these stones in situ. To do this, a preliminary work consists in carrying out an ageing in laboratory of these stones in order to reproduce their alterations. Then the study of the degradations is carried out with a system of automated photogrammetry using a turntable. Produktbeschreibung
The photogrammetry is based on the processing of images and point clouds for a colorimetric and morphological analysis of the degradation suffered by the stone. We will address the improvement of the lighting system, the automation of the turntable, the camera control and all aspects allowing the automation of this protocol. The final goal is to be able to create an "identity card" of degradation for these stones.
