Kate DiCamillo is one of America's most beloved storytellers. She is a former National Ambassador for Young People's Literature and a two-time Newbery Medalist. Born in Philadelphia, she grew up in Florida and now lives in Minneapolis. Chris Van Dusen is the author-illustrator of Hattie & Hudson, Randy Riley's Really Big Hit, King Hugo's Huge Ego, The Circus Ship, and Big Truck, Little Island. He is also the illustrator of the Mercy Watson books and many other titles. He lives in Maine.
