While it's about Democrats and Republicans, it is meant to help people of whatever party to change their community for the better if they welcome and listen to those who have similar ideas even though they have different backgrounds.

Autor

Bloomington City Council president from 1971-1975, Charlotte's many honors include the dedication of the Monroe County Justice Center in her name, a Rotary Club Toast for "service above self," the Sagamore of the Wabash award, until 2006 the highest honor the Governor of Indiana could bestow. She holds a Ph.D in Linguistics from the University of Michigan, was Co-founder of Goods for Cooks, and has regularly received recognition for her continuing business, civic and educational contributions to Bloomington, the State of Indiana, and the nation.
