Fathi Ismail, known by his pen name Fathi Ismail, is an acclaimed Egyptian author born on February 1, 1975. With a diverse range of publications, he has made a significant impact on the literary scene. His notable works include "Magaat Min Lahn Aneid" (Fragments of a Stubborn Melody) in 2017, published by Emad Qatari Publishing Foundation and Arab House for Publishing and Distribution. He also published "Galbab Abyad" (White Robe) in 2019, a collection of short stories by the General Organization for Cultural Palaces (Regional Publishing). In 2021, Ismail released "Ibtisamat Mubtasira" (Premature Smiles), a collection of short stories under the Egyptian General Authority for Books' "Creative Stories" series. He also published "Hi Assai" (She's My Cane) in the same year, a novel by Wow Publishing House, which received the prestigious Ehsan Abdel Qudous Award in 2020. Other notable works by Fathi Ismail include "Raqsat Tango Akheera" (The Last Tango Dance) and the second editions of "Magaat Min Lahn Aneid" and "Galbab Abyad," both scheduled to be published by Kinzy Publishing Agency in 2023. Throughout his career, Ismail has received several awards for his exceptional storytelling. He secured the second place in the Asyut Short Story Competition in 2017 for his work "Galbab Abyad."
