Autorenporträt
Georg Jacobs: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Prof. Dr.-Ing. G. Jacobs studied mechanical engineering with majoring in engineering design at RWTH Aachen and did his doctorate in 1993 at the IHP about wear behaviour of hydraulic pumps and valves. After three years of working in the institutes management he transferred to the Müller Weingarten AG in 1996. In 1997 he joint the Mannesmann Rexroth AG, today Bosch Rexroth AG, where he held different technical leadership roles.
