This book highlights the application of nature-based algorithms in natural resource management. The book includes the methodologies to apply what natural flora or fauna do to optimize their survival. The same technique was used to optimize renewable energy generation from water resources, maximization of profit from crop harvesting, forest resource management and decision-making studies. Rabindra Nath Barman is presently working as an Assistant Professor of Department of Production Engineering in National Institute of Technology Agartala,India. He has completed his PhD from Jadavpur University in the year of 2012.He is interested in fluid mechanics and water resource principles. He has published more than 25 papers in various national and international journals and has written a few book chapters.
