Dr. Anderson uses his expertise in anthroposophy and the Greek of the New Testament and merges these with his spiritual insights, to provide a unique guide to the bewildering array of some 50 persons and spiritual beings depicted here. He has also succeeded in discovering how the Hebrew name of God, as spoken to Moses, (Ehyeh asher Ehyeh) actually does confirm Rudolf Steiner's interpretation: "I am the I am". The painting seeks to educate the viewer about the deep and sacred truths of cosmic Christianity, such as the relationship of each spiritual seeker to Christ Jesus, and the connection of the great leader of the medieval Rosicrucian movement to the Christ-impulse, over the ages. Themes in the painting include: - The importance of Melchizedec - King Solomon's Temple, Hiram and the Queen of Sheba - The influence of Archangel Michael in 3000 BC, and in modern times - The Holy Grail, in three different aspects - The Time-Spirits governing the 4th and 5th Cultural Epochs - The connection of the zodiac and planets to the human being and to Christ - The Divine immersed in the World-cross (Plato) - Lifting up the 'Son of Man' 120 pages in near A4 size, with 30 pages of graphics.

Adrian Anderson, PhD., is an Australian-born author in spirituality, including the work of Rudolf Steiner. A scholar in ancient Greek, he is pioneering a new modality of New Testament studies (or Biblical Criticism). He is the author of 25 books. His Doctoral Thesis, from Monash University, was a world-first research project, assessing and clarifying Rudolf Steiner's spiritual philosophy for the academic world. His Rudolf Steiner Handbook is acclaimed for its clarity, learning and capacity to accurately interpret the world-view of Rudolf Steiner for today's reader. He is an accredited German Translator and has knowledge of various languages including Attic and Hellenistic Greek, modern and medieval German.
