Rosalind Ormiston is an independent art historian, lecturer, writer, and author specialising in art, architecture, and design history. Following her MA (Classical Civilisation) and BA (Hons) History of Art, Architecture and Design, she taught history of art at Kingston University, London. Her published works include Michelangelo; Leonardo da Vinci; Rembrandt; Origins of Modern Art; 50 Art Movements You Should Know; William Morris: Artist, Craftsman, Pioneer; Alphonse Mucha: Masterworks; Van Gogh: His Life in Letters and Art; and Pablo Picasso.
