This study focuses on the cultural and communal traditions embedded in the five novels written by Toni Morrison. The Author: Patrick Bryce Bjork is an assistant professor of English at Bismarck State College, Bismarck, North Dakota where he is coordinator for multicultural studies. He received his Ph.D. from the University of North Dakota. He is currently writing a profile about Native American culture in North Dakota.
