'Truly first class. Just knock-out' C. J Tudor, author of The Chalk Man

Polished. Professional. Perfect. Dead.

When Dr Eleanor Costello is found hanging in her immaculate home, something about the scene doesn't add up.

DCS Frankie Sheehan, a trained profiler, is handed the case and immediately spots foul play. What at first looks like an open and shut case of suicide quickly starts to fall apart.

Then Amy Keegan, a young woman from Frankie's home town, is found dead. As details of her personal life emerge, a sinister link to Eleanor is uncovered. Who were these two women behind their ordinary exteriors? Where is Eleanor's husband, missing these last three weeks? And why can't Frankie shake the feeling that these murders are connected to a previous case?

As Frankie strives to paint a picture of the killer, and their victims, she starts to sense they are part of a larger, darker canvas, on which the lines between the two begin to blur.

Olivia Kiernan's debut is a bold, brilliant thriller that will keep you guessing and leave you breathless.

'Fantastic . . . Compelling, chilling and brilliant' Karen Hamilton, author of The Perfect Girlfriend
'A hard-boiled take on Tana French . . . a talent to watch' Irish Times

Rezensionen
A truly first class crime novel. Intricate, suspenseful, twisted. Plus, a fantastic female protagonist in Frankie Sheehan who can stand proud with some of the great fictional detectives. Just knock-out. C. J Tudor, author of The Chalk Man
