In this playful rhyming picture book, the numbers 0-10 come to life and invite young readers to discover their world. Each number introduces itself through lively verses and charming illustrations, encouraging children to observe, count, and notice patterns in the pictures.
Grounded in research on early mathematics learning, the book supports the development of number sense by inviting children to explore numbers, shapes, and relationships through conversation and discovery. The approach is inspired by internationally used ideas of playful early mathematics learning that encourage children to experience numbers as meaningful and lively companions. My Garden is a Square combines a poetic story with visual exploration. Curious questions on each page invite children to look closely and talk about what they see. The book also includes creative activities as well as background ideas and practical tips for parents and educators. A joyful introduction to early mathematics for children aged 3-7Noch keine Bewertungen vorhanden
