How deeply does Israel's influence reach into British politics, public institutions and national security?
This evidence-led investigation examines the complex and often controversial relationship between Britain and Israel. Beginning with the Balfour Declaration and the British Mandate for Palestine, the book traces how historical responsibility developed into a modern strategic partnership involving diplomacy, political lobbying, defence, intelligence, technology and trade.

Although the government stated that these missions were intended solely to locate hostages, continuing secrecy has prevented the public from independently verifying how the intelligence was used or shared.

This includes Israeli political support for Tommy Robinson, the strongly pro-Israel position adopted by Reform UK and the use of support for Israel to legitimise anti-Muslim political narratives.
