I am in the middle of the ocean. I have two oars. I can move. But I don't know where to go.
For thirty-three years, I lived inside a cage with no bars. Then one morning, on the deck of a small boat with no land in sight, I finally understood something I had been avoiding my entire adult life: no one is coming to save me.
What happened next changed everything. Starving, dehydrated, and three days from death, I met someone on a shore that should not have existed. He looked like me. He spoke like me. And what he told me in one conversation rewired the way I understood my past, my present, and everything I was still allowed to become.
MEETING MY FUTURE SELF is the story of what I did after that shore disappeared - and the method I built from the wreckage of my own life.
If you have read Cage Without Bars, this is what happened after the shore. If you have not, this book stands entirely on its own.
What's inside:
A raw, honest memoir of losing yourself in a life you chose - and finding your way back
The Oars Method - a five-step framework I built from the wreckage of my own life: See the Wake. Meet Your Future Self. Find the Next Move. Shrink the Move. Row Anyway.
12 practical worksheets designed to be used, not just read
Candid answers to the 13 questions that matter most - including what to do if you can't visualize your future, what to do if your partner doesn't support you, and what to do if you've already failed three times
This is not a self-help book.
It is a memoir that becomes a method. A story about the cage, the boat, and the shore. And a quiet argument for the one thing that actually changes a life: the willingness to pick up the oars and row toward a version of yourself you haven't met yet.
Who it's for:
Anyone who has ever felt trapped in a life that looks fine from the outside
Anyone rebuilding after a relationship, a loss, or a version of themselves they had to leave behind
Anyone who has read every self-help book on the shelf and is still waiting for the next real step
Anyone who is tired of being told to "think positive" and wants something they can actually do tomorrow morning
What this book is not:
It is not a formula. It is not a promise. It is not another list of things you already know you should do. It is one person's account of what actually worked - and the framework he built from it.
You have the oars. You have always had the oars.
Scroll up, click "Buy Now," and start rowing.
