EVERYONE GOES HOME
Shrapnel: The Official BattleTech Magazine is your true-north compass toward friendly lines during the blistering, do-or-die BattleMech combat of the 31st century and beyond!
A Dispossessed MechWarrior stuck piloting a hovertank when her home is attacked must rein in her pride and jealousy when an entitled young MechWarrior is assigned to her unit. After an arrogant mistake meant someone never got to go home, a Cable's Rangers lieutenant is determined to never make this error again, even if it costs her own life. And when the Hsien Hotheads are trapped by minefields, it is up to the daring pilots of their Heavy-Lift (Aerial) Detachment to pull them out of the fire, but these VTOLs are more vulnerable than the 'Mechs they seek to carry to safety...
In this issue, you'll travel to the Davion Outback, where twin sisters wrestle with their noble duties, calling their own futures into question. Then you'll head back to Galatea, the Mercenary's Star, for A Night of Foxfire, the next hijinks-filled installment in the Fox Patrol/Death Kangaroos crossover saga! You'll also return to the Periphery, where Fronc Reaches Marshal Rick Jacobs faces life-threatening injuries in Part 2 of The Lone Marshal.
Feel right at home in the cockpit with advice on how to make the most of your MechWarrior field rations; a guide to sidearms for the budget-conscious; and an exploration into land-air 'Mechs and QuadVees, and how they relate to historical and modern battlefields. Then fight your way back to a safe haven with intel from technical readouts, unit and planet digests, playable scenarios, and more!
