Alex Marland is the Jarislowsky Chair in Trust and Political Leadership and a professor of Canadian politics at Acadia University. Among his publications are Brand Command: Canadian Politics and Democracy in the Age of Message Control, Whipped: Party Discipline in Canada, and No I in Team: Party Loyalty in Canadian Politics, which he co-authored with Jared Wesley and Mireille Lalancette.

Thierry Giasson is a professor of political science and holds the Research Chair in Democracy and Parliamentary Institutions at Université Laval. He is an award-winning teacher and the founder of the Groupe de recherche en communication politique. He is also the director of the Centre for the Study of Democratic Citizenship, an associate fellow of the médialab at Sciences Po in Paris, and the co-editor of the Communication, Strategy, and Politics series.

Elizabeth Dubois is an associate professor and University Research Chair in Politics, Communication, and Technology at the University of Ottawa. She is also a current faculty associate and former fellow of the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University. She leads the multidisciplinary Pol Comm Tech Lab and hosts the Wonks and War Rooms podcast.
