Dr. Pal is currently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, Harcourt Butler Technical University, Kanpur-208002, Uttar Pradesh India. He has received his M. Tech in 2011 and Ph.D. in 2017, in the field of Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. Before that, he has completed his B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from UPTU, Lucknow in 2006. Dr Pal completed doctorate degree in the field of nanotechnology and catalysis. These nanofibers have very promising potential to provide benefits to nanotechnologies, energy, environment, catalysts, sensors etc. While pursuing research he published 81 articles in the international referred journals, six books, and thirty book chapters. Dr. Pal’s research interest is nano-technology, catalysis, energy and environment and waste management with a special focus in developing process and materials by using waste as raw materials. He also prefers to work on bio-waste processing and value addition.

Dr. Kapoor is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Harcourt Butler Technical University, Kanpur-208002, Uttar Pradesh, India. He earned his B. Tech and M. Tech (dual degree program) in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, Tamil Nadu, India, in 2004. He received his PhD from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), Illinois, USA, in 2011. Before assuming his current position, Dr. Kapoor worked as a Product Engineer at Lam Research Corporation, California, USA, and as a faculty member in the Department of Chemical Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, India. With over 12 years of experience in industry and academia, he has authored more than 75 peer-reviewed international publications. His research interests include microfluidics, lab-on-a-chip technologies, environmental remediation, biomass valorization, and modeling and simulation.

Dr. Rai has been working as an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry at the College of Medicine, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Saudi Arabia since 2017. He is involved in teaching, research, laboratory, and administrative work.
Dr. Rai completed his Ph.D. (2012) in Applied Biochemistry from the School of Biotechnology, Banaras Hindu University, India (specialization area: microbial biotechnology and molecular biology. He has a Master of Science degree in Applied Biochemistry from the Department of Biochemistry, VBS Purvanchal University, India.
During his Ph.D. he worked on cyanotoxins (microcystins) and plant growth-promoting bacteria. After completing his Ph.D., he worked on a project related to enhanced biofuel production in algae using genetic engineering techniques at ICGEB, New Delhi. Furthermore, he has worked on a metaproteomic-based project at NBAIM-ICAR. Dr Rai worked at the School of Biotechnology, JNU New Delhi as SERB-DST Young Scientist and Principal Investigator in a young scientist scheme project and worked on a host-pathogen interactions-based study. Altogether, Dr. Rai has 17 years of experience (teaching and/ or research) including 11 years after Ph.D. Dr. Rai is an expert in a wide range of laboratory/ research techniques and published numerous peer-reviewed articles (n >50) in leading journals/books.
His current Area of research interests are Microbial Biotechnology, Molecular Biology and Proteomics, Biomass and Biofuels, and Environmental Microbiology.
Additionally, Dr. Rai is actively involved in editorial roles and peer reviewer/ journal referee for several international journals.
