Ryan Essex is a Research Fellow at the George Institute for Global Health at the University of New South Wales. His research spans several disciplines and issues, including migrant health, public health, and the intersection of politics and health.

Rita Issa is a Visiting Scholar at the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights at Harvard University and a primary care physician. For over a decade, she has been active in movements related to migrant justice and access to health care, climate change, the National Health Service, and the visioning and stewardship of health-giving systems rooted in the social, political, and ecological determinants of health.

James Smith is a Lecturer in Humanitarian Policy and Practice at University College London, and an emergency doctor based in London. He has worked for more than a decade in the fields of humanitarian medicine and humanitarian public health and is engaged in movements for global health justice and resistance to state and corporate violence.
