Finding Northlane A MUST-READ heartfelt and steamy strangers-to-lovers, small-town, single dad, age gap, cowboy romance

Finding Northlane is a Insta-Attraction romance set in rural Australia. It is a rather short novel making it a quick & enjoyable read. Caution: the book ends on a cliffhanger as it's part one of a duet. He’s the single dad and tall, hot cowboy in his early 40s. She’s his daughter’s colorful music teacher and new in town in her late twenties ‍♀️. Both have this attraction at first sight ✨ and I loved that there was no slow burn or big deal about their age gap. They gave in to their feelings fast and dealt with the possible complications afterwards – some learn swimming best when the water is chin-high. And it was so refreshing that the MCs didn’t have lengthy inner monologues hashing out their doubts why they shouldn’t - and just went for what felt right. Both are trying to outrun their past but may just be what each other needed understanding the other’s trauma & guilt better than anyone else. The book would’ve been an overly cute and fun read if it wasn’t for the heavier themes giving it more depth. While there were a few aspects (character traits) I personally don’t support nor like, I fully enjoyed the book and couldn’t put it down – in parts because of the side characters who may or may not be main characters in published & future books of the author
