Dieses Buch ist wunderschön und fesselnd. Es liest sich super auf englisch und man kann sich richtig in die Charaktere hineinfühlen. Es wird an keiner Stelle langweilig zu lesen. Eines meiner Lieblingsbücher.

Nicholas Sparks hat die besten Romane. Ich fand die Geschichte sehr rührend. Einfach super.. Im Film fehlen natürlich sehr viele kleine (aber wichtige) details. Ich würde allen empfehlen zuerst das Buch zu lesen und dann denn Film zu schauen.

Logan Thibault is a soldier in Iraq and there he finds a picture of a women. Somehow he keeps it and it becomes his lucky charm - at least so his friend thinks. He tells him to go searching for her. And so he does... What an extraordinary and lovely story. Nicholas Sparks just knows how to keep his readers in suspense. It was not his most touching book but it certainly was a very nice one which I thoroughly enjoyed. I adore his books.
