Sunrise on the Reaping: Deluxe Edition (a Hunger Games Novel)

Definitely the most heartbreaking book in the entire series. I devoured it in one day. The story is definitely the most tragic one, I cried multiple times while reading this. 5/5 stars, would not recommend ;)

Absoluter Must have! Vor allem als Kontrast zu Snow in “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes”.

I read it within 24 hours because I just couldn't stop. Even though the outcome is known, I still wasn't ready to actually read about Haymitch's life and all the pain that led him to be the drunk Haymitch we met in the Hunger Games.

I love The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. I read it last March in German and now in English and it is simply amazing. I could not put it down. The story is perfect, the characters are well developed and the emotional depth of the book is incredible. I would give anything to experience it for the first time again. It also gives great insight into Haymitch and explains why he is the way he is. I can only hope that the movie adaptation does justice to this masterpiece. Ich liebe The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping!
