Man muss sich schon etwas auf die Idee einer Krähe, die Trauer verkörpert und mit den Protagonisten interagiert, einlassen- dann ist es ein berührendes Buch über einen Witwer und seine Kinder die langsam wieder ins Leben zurück finden.
Das Sinnbild der Trauer, die immer da ist, überall Federn lässt, ohrenbetäubend krächzt und auch beim Spielen der Kinder teil hat, ist so greifbar, wie man es noch nie gelesen hat.
