This is a super cute fairytale kind of romance.
He is the super grumpy, broody, guilt-rattled bodyguard who rescues the super chatty and sunshiny lady from her safe haven tower.
It was so fun to read: the banter, the riddles & secrets, the tension, the banter, the annoyingly charming characters – with the castle being one (think Hogwarts with talking portraits, moving stairs, and hidden rooms). The plot twists weren’t too surprising as most were hinted at between the lines (or I just saw it coming with my plot radar senses)
Can’t wait for the next book in the series to be released later this year and continue the journey. Thanks for letting me ARC-read TDINID
