Shen, L: Pretty Reckless

The story is something I have not read like this before and therefore find it interesting to read. It's an enemies - lovers trope and has step sibling bits. The main characters, Penn and Daria meet when they are fourteen years old. Daria feels neglected by her mother, because she seems to prefer a girl named Via over her own daughter. Hating Via makes Daria do reckless things - like stealing her very important mail. She can't make herself throw the letter away though and that is when Penn comes in and helps her - not knowing that he himself just threw away his twin sisters future. Via runs away. Penn blames Daria for what happensd to his sister. And Daria can't stop thinking about Penn. Years later they collide again, with Penn being determind to destroy Daria and Daria still thinking about Penn. It's a back and forth with Penn and Daria. Emotions are running high and both are to stubborn to give - cause all they know is take. I would call their relationship toxic, if they weren't meant to be (and yeah I know what that sounds like). It's true tho. Give it a try, i say it's worth it. The writing is smooth, the characters relatable (I like that very much) and the story realistic, if you are a high society rich kid cheerleader (Daria) and a football prodige (Penn). So far I enjoyed reading 'Pretty Reckless' and plan on reading the lot.
