Aysel and Roman are different as can be. She is a physics nerd, he is a sportsman - in high school those two usually don't mix that well. But there's one thing they have in common: Aysel and Roman both have to deal with a difficult past and want to end their lives. They meet on a suicide platform and decide to become suicide partners. But as their plan gets more and more concrete, Aysel starts to doubt whether or not they really are doing the right thing... I very much enjoyed reading this book. It has obviously a very dark theme, but it is also very optimistic at the same time. Despite its grave topic it also offers some humor and I really liked how it all fit together. Reading it I was alternately sad, scared, anxious and excited and I could really empathize with the characters. Due to its theme I recommend this book to teenagers aged 14 and up.
