Dr. Mohammad Azhar Aziz graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru University with PhD in Biotechnology. His work on colorectal cancer spanning more than two decades is rooted in strong interdisciplinary training. He was trained to work across disciplines through ‘Integrative Cancer Biology Program’ – An initiative by National Cancer Institute, NIH, USA to bring together diverse disciplines with a common goal to understand and defeat cancer. His expertise is in colorectal Cancer with pioneer work on precision and personalized medicine. He had been a recipient of several international awards. He established ‘Colorectal Cancer Biology Program’ at King Abdullah International Medical Research Center, KSA and recently 'Cancer Nanomedicine' Consortium at Aligarh Muslim University, India to bring together different departments for conducting cancer research and find translatable solutions for the patients.

Dr. Snober S. Mir is working as Professor and Head, Department of Biosciences, Integral University, Lucknow. Her area of specialization is Molecular and Cell Biology, Cancer Biology and Yeast Biology. She has been a recipient of the Young Scientist Award by IACR during her doctoral studies and a research fellowship of Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER). Dr. Mir worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Medical College of Georgia, USA and as Senior Research Associate on a European Commission funded project at CSIR-CDRI, Lucknow. Her research work in cancer biology is funded by DBT, YSS-SERB, CRG-ANRF, ARG-ANRF and SERB-SURE grants. The research group also trains DAAD-RISE interns under the German Academic Exchange Service funded by DAAD-RISE Worldwide.
