This isn't your typical modern, over-simplified read. If you miss the gritty, complex prose of legends like Sapkowski or Stephen King, you’ll feel right at home here. The language has real texture and weight to it.
The real standout is the bond between Logan and Meylin. Logan is a phenomenal mentor deep, flawed, and completely believable. Their relationship grows naturally, avoiding all the usual cliches. It’s rare to find a connection between characters that feels this authentic.
