Für so ein altes Buch, lässt es sich lesen wie jedes moderne Buch. Der Stil ist einfach zu lesen und ich finde die Art wie es geschrieben ist wirklich faszinierend modern. Kaum zu glauben, dass der Autor schon damals solche fantasievollen Ideen hatte und sich größte Mühe gegeben hat sie logisch darzustellen und zu beschreiben. Außerdem war das Buch so spannend und voller Action, sodass ich es regelrecht verschlungen habe und am liebsten diekt nochmal lesen möchte. Es erinnert mich stark an die Superheldengeschichten, die aber aus der Sicht des Bösewichts geschrieben werden. Daher ein echt tolles Buch, dass durch sein Alter nichts eingebüßt hat und in dieser Hinsicht sogar noch spannender und zeitloser ist als manche Science Fiction Bücher heutzutage.

Durch ein Experiment unsichtbar geworden, hat die Unsichtbarkeit ihn böse gemacht. Ich hatte beim Lesen die ganze Zeit ein ungutes Gefühl - der Protagonist war mir sehr unsympathisch. Das Ende des Buches wurde nochmal ziemlich spannend!
