After a devastating explosion rocks their military mission, Lance and Sloan return stateside in rough condition. Lance has been blinded by the blast, and he breaks it off with Sloan, believing Sloan will be better off without him. He heads for small town Texas to recover at the Rockin' W and learn how to live again. The thing is, Sloan has no intention of giving up on Lance.
