The Roommate Arrangement

Cover: I really like the cover. It looks cosy, with friendly, harmonious colours, and it promises a nice love story. Narrator: The female narrator has a lovely voice, which made it easy to listen to and follow the story without any distractions. Characters: In my opinion, the characters were a bit plain. I liked Blair, but she sometimes seemed a bit too much. Jamie was supposed to be a mysterious boy, but it seemed too forced. I don't understand Blair's old friends — was their friendship so superficial? The Blair family also seemed strange. Maybe it's just me, but it seemed as if Blair and her brother had never spoken to each other before. Opinion: I found it easy to get into the story. The beginning was sad, with Blair's so-called best friends. Their friendship seems very superficial. The 'roommate arrangement' also seemed a bit exaggerated to me. Problems are often created where there don't need to be any. Nevertheless, I found it interesting and finished listening to this audiobook very quickly. I always enjoy the development of characters, and that happened a lot with Blair, as well as with Jamie, Sawyer and Mikey. This is a huge plus for me, as I find it very important and interesting. Overall, I enjoyed the story, but it seemed a bit too much for me.
