Jon and Nana enjoy a sunny day at the beach. On the sandy shore, Jon is delighted by all he sees. Then Jon uses his imagination to travel under the sea! Count along with Jon and learn about some of the ocean's beautiful creatures. Amy Foos Kapoor's debut picture book creates an adventure filled with onomatopoeia and description wrapped in the concept of counting. Jennifer Ard's illustrations pop-off the page inviting young children to dive and count with Jon and his dolphin friend. The back matter of Into the Blue includes a world map and additional information about the objects Jon counts. Reviews: "What a fine and beautiful book... good for many readings and seeing, and the thrill of exploration and observation. I marveled at every page." -Sena Jeter Naslund, author of best-selling Ahab's Wife and eight other novels
