László Mátyás
is a renowned Hungarian-Australian economist and econometrician, currently a University Professor at the Department of Economics at Central European University (CEU), with campuses in Budapest and Vienna. He is widely recognized for his contributions to econometrics, particularly in panel data analysis, and has (co)authored and (co)edited several high-impact works. Mátyás previously served as Senior Lecturer at Monash University (Melbourne, Australia) and was the founding Director of the Institute for Economic Analysis in Budapest. He also held the position of Provost at CEU. Currently, he co-edits the Springer series
