This story is about Roman and Lexi, we're talking about a 40 years old MMC and a 29ish FMC. An age gap love story. The story about Lexi and Roman is very well written, and I think it might be the spiciest book in the series. If you're an non native English reader, don't worry because it's easy to follow. I like that the story is written from both points of view in the first person, which helps me to get more into the characters. The chemistry is on top, and I like how they evolve through the book. Roman and Lexi are deep characters that have to overcome some of their old package, and this makes them so reliable for me. Audibook: The audiobook is told by two people (male and female). The voices are amazing and match the characters perfectly. Even non native English could follow easily. I think the audio is doing really its magic. I had some goosebumps while hearing the male voice. Conclusion: A nice spicy age gap hockey player love story. Info: I've got an ARC and ALC from the author, which does not influence my opinion on the story (nether book nor audiobook). This is book 4 of THE TORONTO TERROR SERIES Book 1: If You Hate Me Book 2: If You Want Me Book 3: If You Need Me Book 4: If You Love Me (There's a novella that is considered to be Book 3.5 about the characters of book 4 that was previously serialized on Helena Huntings Newsletter and might come out as an ebook later). Each book could be read individually, but for a better context, I recommend reading them in order.
