The Everlasting is a sweeping romantasy that blends myth, time loops, and lyrical storytelling into something genuinely fresh. The novel follows scholar Owen Mallory as he’s pulled into the legendary life of Una Everlasting — a knight whose story has shaped the entire nation of Dominion. What begins as a translation project becomes a journey through multiple lives, shifting timelines, and a love story that refuses to stay buried. Harrow’s prose is lush and poetic, and the structure — divided into Una’s five “deaths” — creates a rhythm that feels both epic and intimate. I especially loved the inversion of traditional gender roles and the subtle, natural diversity woven through the world. It’s a book that grows bolder with every chapter, balancing heartbreak, myth, and hope with remarkable confidence.

6/5 Stars. This was hands down my most favourite read of 2025. The writing, the lovestory, the plot... I loved every single second of this ❤️ if you liked the six deaths of the saint and/or this is how you lose the time war, you schould definitely check this one out. It has everything, a female knight, a nerdy little professor and don't even get me started on the yearning... simply a masterpiece
