I.V. Marie - Immortal Consequences: Die Blackwood Academy Trials Zunächst einmal muss ich mich zu diesem wahnsinnig tollen Cover samt Farbschnitt auslassen. So wunderschön und detailreich und passend. Es ist einfach außergewöhnlich. Aber der Inhalt muss sich dahinter nicht verstecken. Die Idee finde ich schon super und die Umsetzung kann sich sehen lassen. Die Protagonisten sind stimmig und gut ausgearbeitet. Der Schreibstil ist angenehm. Mich stören die häufigen Perspektivwechsel nicht. Vielmehr passen sie zur Geschichte und sind irgendwie notwendig. Jedenfalls wird es für mich dadurch spannend. Definitiv eine klare Leseempfehlung für alle Dark-Academy-Begeisterte. Ich war fasziniert und abgeholt. Ich freue mich wirklich sehr auf weitere Teile der Reihe und hoffentlich noch sehr viel von der Autorin zu hören.

,, Immortal Consequences '' von I. V. Marie ist alleine äußerlich einfach atemberaubend. Ich habe das Buch gesehen und musste es unbedingt haben! Der Schutzumschlag mit der Sanduhr ist einfach wunderschön, doch da hört die Schönheit aber noch lange nicht auf. Auch das Buch selbst ist wundervoll gestaltet. Anders als bei andern ist dieses nämlich nicht einfach langweilig schwarz sondern wird mit der Blackwood Academy geschmückt. Ich finde man merkt wirklich dass sich dort Mühe gegeben wurde. Als ich das Buch sah, dachte ich mir, wenn es halb so gut ist wie es aussieht ist es dennoch ein gutes Buch! Und ich würde nicht enttäuscht. In dem Buch begleiten wir sechs Teenager bei einem Wettkampf, bei dem es um den Aufstieg in die Elite oder den Weg auf die andere Seite geht. Das Buch ist aus verschiedenen Sichten geschrieben. Ich fand es sehr gut, dass man am Anfang des Kapitels direkt wusste, in welcher Sicht man sich befindet. Ich bin wirklich vollkommen begeistert und freue mich auf den nächsten Teil!
