The White Book A Novel

Han Kang wrote literary pieces about white things to process the death of her, only two hours old, older sister who died right after death. She writes this book while staying in Warsaw, Poland. A literary piece of a life unlived. I tried something new with this poetry-like piece from Han Kang. I enjoyed it, but it was not quite that memorable. Furthermore, I think people recently having lost someone will like this literary piece more. Unfortunately, I cannot appreciate it for what it most definitely could be. When I give this to my roommate, I'm excited to find out what she thinks. The writing (or translation) was excellent, though. Han Kang is without doubt an exceptional writer.
