Zodiac Academy 2: Ruthless Fae

The heirs continue to do everything in their power to destroy the twins’ lives. They almost manage to break them, but Tori and Darcy don’t give up that easily. Instead of going back to the mortal world, they decide to fight back. Face-to-face, they wouldn’t stand a chance, so they decide to attack from the shadows, making sure the four Celestial Heirs will never know who hit them. After already loving the first book, I was really looking forward to reading this one. The writing style is great and pulled me in right from the start. I already liked the twins in the first book, and I liked them even more as I got to know them better. I especially loved seeing them come up with a clever way to fight back instead of simply giving in to the heirs. It was also interesting to learn a bit more about the Celestial Heirs. Therefore, I enjoyed that the story was not just told from Tori and Darcy’s perspectives but also included chapters from different points of view. This helped me get a better understanding of the other characters. Besides that, I still enjoyed the world and its magical system and loved learning a bit more about it. The plot kept me hooked throughout the entire book, and the tension remained consistently high, so I never felt like the story was dragging. Especially the ending was incredibly intense. I’m excited to see what more we will learn about the world and its magical system and how the story will continue. Overall, I enjoyed this book even more than the first one and loved getting to know the characters and the world better. The story kept me hooked from beginning to end, and I’m definitely looking forward to continuing the series.
