STAY FOR SPELL HB

Ein ganz bezauberndes Buch was mit Klischees jongliert und eine Meisterleistung hinlegt! So eine schöne, warme Geschichte! Das einzige was ich anders machen würde, wenn ich es noch ändern könnte: ich würde das Buch im Herbst bei Sturm vor einem Kamin mit einem heißen Getränk lesen. Da gehört es für mich so richtig hin.

“Stay for a Spell” surprised me in the best way. I expected a light-hearted romantasy, but I found a story that explores themes of freedom, identity, expectations, and finding the courage to be yourself. What stood out to me most was the realization that the curse is a metaphor for the expectations others place on us, and the ones we eventually place on ourselves. The writing is warm, humorous, and easy to read, and the pages flew by. While the story has all the charm of a cosy fantasy, it also leaves the reader with thoughtful questions about the roles we play, the expectations we carry, and what it truly means to choose our own path. A wonderful read for anyone looking for a magical story with heart, humour, and meaningful themes.
